CRIME is up in Hardwicke year-on-year, police have said.
There were a total of 43 incidents in a three month period in 2013 compared to 33 in the same period a year previous, in 2012.
Hardwicke parish councillors were warned about the increase by police at their last meeting in December.
The major cause for the increase of reported crimes in the village is said to be because of the number of reported incidents for assault has gone up.
