A chunk of a £1million grant is set to be ploughed into Gloucester's homelessness problem as the problem hits record levels.
In total £990,000 has been granted by the Government to tackle the issue as it is revealed homeless figures have doubled in a year in the county.
As of autumn 2016 there were 42 homeless in Gloucestershire, 23 of which were in Gloucester.
