Police have confirmed that an incident at a Gloucester bridge which brought traffic in a wide area to a standstill was a woman feared to be about to jump.Motorists were being urged to avoid a number of main roads in Gloucester due to the police incident which started at about 4pm today at the bridge at Cole Avenue.Roads towards the swing bridge were blocked off and a heavy police presence could be seen throughout the Hempstead area as negotiators moved in to talk to a woman on the bridge.Read:...
