Police have confirmed the victim of an alleged sexual assault was a 16-year-old girl.Police taped off an area next to the Stroudwater Navigation canal at Chipman's Platt, Eastington on Sunday after they were alerted at around 5am.The victim of the alleged sexual assault is from the Stroud area, police also confirmed today.A 20-year-old Gloucester man has been arrested, questioned and bailed until February next year.Police inquiries continue.
