Burglars took a metal cat ornament and several rings after targeting an elderly woman's home while she was out.Police were called called at 3.20pm on Monday to the break-in in Wellsprings Road, Longlevens.A spokesman said: "Offenders forced entry to the property of an elderly woman, who is in her 80s, and conducted an untidy search of the house."Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 259 of September 7.
