Officers in Gloucester foiled a dastardly crime yesterday after the offender chose a less-than-perfect getaway vehicle.
PCSOs spotted a gentleman walking down the road in Hempsted with a trolley full of goods, including food, a toaster, flowers and even a mirror.
While he made no attempt to hide the hoard, which was valued at £291, it all turned out to be stolen.
