The A48 was shut for several hours last night following a collision between two vehicles –leaving one person seriously injured and another in custody on suspicion of drink driving.
The route between Lydney and Chepstow was closed at around 8pm last night and Gloucestershire Police were advising drivers to take alternative routes as an investigation got underway.
