When police pulled over a driver in Stroud, they made a shocking discovery.
Inside a car they said they found what appeared to be a police torch - but in fact it was a taser potentially capable of discharging one million volts.
The force's road policing unit said on its Twitter feed that possession of a disguised firearm carries a sentence of up to five years in jail, and it is the second such seizure in Gloucestershire in the past two weeks.
