PROLIFIC burglar Richard Stokes is a "coward" who targeted schools to "avoid confrontation".
A day after being released from a prison term he received for burgling a city school, Stokes went back and raided it again, Gloucester Crown Court was told.
Stokes, 35, was jailed for a total of 40 months on Tuesday after admitting two burglaries at schools, robbing a woman of her handbag and receiving goods stolen in a Gloucester house burglary.
