A 'JEALOUS and controlling' Gloucester man who assaulted his ex-partner and stabbed a male friend of hers twice in the legs has been jailed for seven years.
Stephen Whalley, 53, of Milton Ave, Podsmead, was described by a judge at the city crown court as a "very nasty man and a very bad man".
A jury convicted Whalley of wounding Keryon Biggs with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm and assaulting his former partner Jacqueline Leary.
