A 40-year-old man is fighting for his life in Frenchay Hospital following an incident at Bracelands Caravan Park in Coleford on Saturday night.
The incident is believed to have happened at around 10pm. The man, who was staying at the campsite in Bracelands Drive, is receiving treatment for serious head injuries.
Hospital staff alerted police following the emergency admission, who have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the incident.
