Burglar David Hartwell was caught on CCTV carrying a television he had just stolen from a home down the road.
The 21-year-old was jailed for two years and nine months, after admitting his third burglary conviction since 2010.
Gloucester Crown Court heard he broke into a flat on Seymour Road in Linden before taking two television sets on November 2, last year.
