A KNIFE wielding drunk man, who was hearing voices and being threatened by imaginary people, was refused entry to a mental hospital just days before, a court heard.
Police had taken Callum Lean to Wotton Lawn days prior to him wandering around Stroud town centre with a bladed knife in his hand.
But the hospital refused to section the 21-year-old and he was let back to his Matthews Way home in Paganhill, Stroud.
