Former publicly-owned courthouses appear to have been sold off below market rate and taxpayers are not getting value for money from the Government's court closure programme, Labour has said.
The Opposition called on the influential Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to investigate the Coalition's programme to close and sell off 142 magistrates' and county courts, which ministers say will save £41.5 million a year.
