FAILING to remove adverts from a grade two listed building in Gloucester has hit a well-known businessman in the pocket.Saqib Rasul was fined £400 and hit with £659 in costs at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court yesterday for not tearing down adhesive vinyl window adverts at the Vauxhall Mart in Barton Street.The case dated back to March 3, 2011 when Mr Rasul displayed the adverts, including notices of rooms to let.A planning application and an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate were...
