Van driver: Yes I drank cider at wheel

MOTORIST Manfred Ruiz-Rodriguez told police he drank cider at the wheel, a court learned.The defendant, 38, from Belle Vue Road in Stroud, admitted to the town's magistrates' court that he'd driven his Transit at Arlingham with an illegal 106 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.Police had received information and caught him, prosecutor Graham Dono said.In interview Ruiz-Rodriguez then said: "I had two cans of Strongbow whilst driving to work.
