Painswick postmistress Karen Judd, 42, is to stand trial accused of six thefts from the mail.
At Gloucester crown court today Ms Judd, of New Street, Painswick, appeared for a preliminary hearing and her lawyer said she will definitely be denying the alleged offences.
She is alleged to have stolen parcels containing jewellery, clothing, a carriage clock and a mobile phone which passed through her post office.
