MORE than 700 prisoners have done a bunk from an open prison on Gloucestershire's doorstep in 14 years.But official figures show the number of absconders from HMP Leyhill near Wotton-under-Edge is falling.The jail with no walls houses "low-risk" inmates who have the keys to their own cells – but if they do a runner it's unlikely they will go back to such a relaxed regime where they can work the land and improve their skills to get a job when they are released.Three prisoners also...
