A man driving a car with blacked out windows tried to persuade an 11-year-old girl to get into his vehicle.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident in Slad Road, Stroud yesterday at 4.30pm.
The man in a dark coloured vehicle pulled up alongside the girl and asked her to get in.
She refused and walked away but the man started to shout at her.
He then drove off towards Stroud town centre.
