AN increase in crime has been recorded in Hardwicke.Police officers have told parish councillors that the village has seen a 'slight increase' in crime figures compared to the same period last year.The increase is being blamed on burglaries and thefts from cars.Parish clerk Kevin Lee said in his report to councillors: "The number of incidents was low and reflected the general low level of incidents in the Hardwicke area."
